NOW, THE BIG NEWS!!
It's been a long and exciting road, but all good things eventually come to an end. Mike Scully, drummer, moved to North Carolina for a new job in Plastics Engineering and we had a "Final Show" with many special guests. We performed music from ALL FOUR of our albums with SANTOS (guitar), MANIAC (guitar), DAVE DANIELE (saxophone), JEZTER (bass AND vocals), and even had special appearances by 2 PHAT and RYAN SCHIMMING. Our only opener was THE DAMN BANDITS because we played over TWO HOURS worth of material. We also had a killer performance by the soon to famous puppet show, THE GEPETTO FILES. This show was video taped and sound recorded. We'll be trying to put together a DVD. We will at least have a LIVE TRACK OR MORE available on our myspace site very soon.
Thanks everyone for all the support throughout the years and Mike Scully will be back for our annual HALLOWEEN PARTY this year to perform again. Ryan Schimming, drummer of 60 Second Crush, has our set down! We'll be performing with him in the future. He's the man!

SOOT is still promoting the new CD. THE NEW CD, GREAT FIRE OF 1756, IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT CD BABY.
Very soon you'll be able to buy the Motor City Meltdown CD which has LIVE performances from SOOT, HALLOWEEN, MINDCANDY, and BRAILLEHOUSE. The CD will have four songs from each group except HALLOWEEN, who will have five. More info to come.

SOOT was nominated for the second consecutive year for Outstanding Hard Rock/Metal Artist/Group AND has two music videos, "Cleave" and "Hate", that were nominated as well.
Jezter WON Outstanding Rock/Pop Vocalist AND was nominated for Outstanding R&B/Blues Instrumentalist for Harmonica. We'd like to thank everyone in the Detroit music community for making this possible.
